To Our Family of Patients,
Escott Orthodontics is temporarily closed due to mandates from the Florida Governor.
We are currently unable to see our regularly-scheduled patients due to an executive order from Governor Ron DeSantis prohibiting any medically unnecessary, non-urgent or non-emergency procedure. This order specifically includes adjustments for orthodontic treatment.
We miss our patients and we want to be there for you. The regulations put in place by our Florida Governor were established primarily to conserve medical supplies, including protective equipment (such as masks and gloves), that are currently in short supply and to meet the anticipated need for hospitals in our state and throughout our country. Unfortunately, we are not currently able to bring our patients in for their regularly-scheduled appointments.
At this time, we are tentatively planning to reopen May 11th, pending additional instructions from the Florida Governor and other professional organizations. Like you, we are optimistic that we may be able to return to the office even sooner if the spread of the coronavirus pandemic is well-controlled quickly.
If you have an appointment scheduled any time before May 8th, 2020, your appointment will be cancelled at this time.
We will be contacting you individually to reschedule your appointment after we have clarity on when we will reopen, based on instructions from the Florida Governor and other professional organizations.
During our temporary closure, we are available to answer your questions.
We encourage you to reach out to use by e-mail or text message; our team will be answering messages intermittently during our period of closure.

Escott Orthodontics Supports Our Central Florida Community.
In an effort to protect the community that we love, we made the proactive decision to postpone patient visits beginning March 16th, following recommendations from organizations such as the American Dental Association (ADA) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC). The decision to close was then mandated by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and this has extended our anticipated closure. We will continue to support our Central Florida community in any way possible.
Here for YOU.
We understand this is a disruptive and challenging time for everyone. The team at Escott Orthodontics is ready to help and we will do our best to minimize any inconveniences that may occur to the best of our ability. As we prepare to re-open, we will make every effort possible to keep orthodontic treatment on track and on schedule for every one of our patients. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and support as we face this challenge together.
